PRESENT AND FUTURE...
Underage has been playing together for almost two years. As a band, they have mastered covers of over 30 songs, balancing school, play, sports, and other activities while managing to keep the band going. They are currently working on new original songs and hope to perform them at their next gigs. Give these young and talented kids a chance and come see them perform! Underage had been playing for over half a year, yet playing at Paulie's was their first real band experience. A crowd of over 100 watched as the four band members took on their first official gig, performing many new songs.

For months, Underage had been playing numerous gigs and were adorded by crowds everywhere. But one thing was missing-a beat. They needed a drummer, and luckily seven-year-old Liam was up for the job. He first played with the band at Third Friday in Tarrytown in November and has been a contributing band member every since.

THE FIRST SHOW

After practicing for only a few weeks, Underage had their first gig. At Philipse Manor Beach Club, community members witnessed music history. Playing their first cover ever ("Anyway You Want It" by Journey), Underage wowed people of all ages with their young talent.
HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
JUNE 2012
Hal Poret, the band's current manager, was looking for a singer. His two boys, Henry and Ben, were playing guitar at a talent show when Hal discovered Tess, who blew him away with her rendition of "I Want You Back" by The Jackson 5. That night, the band was born. It was not until Tess' sister Zoë suggested the name "Underage" a few days later that the band realized just how perfectly the name fit for their group of talented, young, under age rock stars.
